Return & Refund Policy

At HomeBuddyPro, customer satisfaction is important to us. If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, we are here to help.


Please read our Return & Refund Policy carefully before submitting a return request.


Return Eligibility:

We offer a 15-day return policy, which means you have 15 calendar days from the date of receiving your order to request a return.


To be eligible for a return, the item must:

  1. Be unused, unworn, and in its original condition
  2. Be returned with all original packaging, accessories, manuals, and tags (if applicable)
  3. Not show signs of misuse, damage, alteration, or improper handling
  4. Be accompanied by proof of purchase (order confirmation, receipt, or invoice)


Items returned without prior approval from HomeBuddyPro will not be accepted.



How to Request a Return:

Please include:

  1. Order Number
  2. Full Name
  3. Contact Information
  4. Reason for Return
  5. Photos or videos supporting your claim (if applicable)


Once your request has been reviewed and approved, we will provide instructions on how and where to return your item.


Please do not send any item back without receiving return authorization from HomeBuddyPro.



Damaged, Defective, Incorrect or Incomplete Orders:

Please inspect your order immediately upon receipt.

If you receive:

  1. A damaged item
  2. A defective item
  3. An incorrect item
  4. Missing parts or incomplete order


Please contact us within 48 hours of receiving your order and provide:

  1. Order Number
  2. Clear photos of the product
  3. Photos of the packaging
  4. Unboxing video showing the issue
  5. Description of the problem


Upon verification, HomeBuddyPro will, at our discretion:

  1. Replace the item or missing parts
  2. Provide a partial refund
  3. Provide a full refund
  4. Offer another suitable resolution


For approved claims involving seller error, defective products, damaged products, or incorrect shipments, HomeBuddyPro will bear the return shipping costs where applicable.



Change of Mind Returns:

If you change your mind after receiving your order, you may request a return within 15 days of delivery, subject to approval.

The following conditions apply:

  1. Item must be unused and in resaleable condition
  2. Item must be returned in original packaging
  3. Buyer is responsible for all return shipping costs
  4. A 10% restocking fee will be deducted from the refundable amount


Example:

Order Amount: RM50.00

  1. Item Price: RM50.00 - Promotional Voucher Discount: RM2.00 = RM48.00
  2. Restocking Fee (10%): RM4.80

Refund Amount: RM43.20


Original shipping charges (if any) are non-refundable.

Refunds will be processed within 3 business days after the returned item has been received and inspected.


Free Gifts & Promotional Items:

If your order included a free gift, promotional item, bundle item, or complimentary product, all such items must also be returned together with the main product when requesting a return and refund.


If the free gift or promotional item is not returned, HomeBuddyPro reserves the right to deduct the retail selling price of the free gift or promotional item from the refund amount.


Example:

Order Amount: RM100.00

Free Gift Value: RM15.00

If the main product is returned but the free gift is not returned:

  1. Refund Amount: RM100.00
  2. Less Free Gift Value: RM15.00


Final Refund: RM85.00, before deduct 10% restocking fee.


The value deducted will be based on HomeBuddyPro's current selling price of the free gift or promotional item at the time the return is processed.


This policy also applies to:

  1. Buy 1 Free 1 promotions
  2. Bundle deals
  3. Free gift with purchase campaigns
  4. Complimentary accessories included as part of a promotion




Return Shipping Responsibility:

Customers are responsible for ensuring returned items are properly packaged and protected during transit.


We strongly recommend using a trackable shipping service.

HomeBuddyPro is not responsible for items lost or damaged during return transit arranged by the customer.


If a returned item arrives damaged due to insufficient packaging or courier mishandling, the return may be rejected or a reduced refund may be issued based on the item's condition.


Where necessary, HomeBuddyPro may provide photographs and unboxing videos of the returned parcel as evidence during the assessment process.


Customers may pursue compensation directly with their selected courier provider if transit damage occurs during the return shipment.



Non-Returnable Items:

For hygiene, safety, customization, and regulatory reasons, the following items cannot be returned unless they arrive damaged, defective, or incorrect:

  1. Food and perishable goods
  2. Flowers and plants
  3. Personalized or custom-made products
  4. Special-order items
  5. Beauty and personal care products that have been opened or used
  6. Health and hygiene products that have been opened
  7. Hazardous materials
  8. Flammable liquids or gases
  9. Digital products or downloadable content
  10. Gift cards


If you are unsure whether your item is eligible for return, please contact us before making a purchase.



Sale Items:

Clearance, final sale, and heavily discounted promotional items may not be eligible for return unless required by applicable consumer protection laws or unless the item is defective, damaged, or incorrectly supplied.



Exchanges:

We currently do not offer direct exchanges.

The fastest way to receive a different item is:

  1. Request a return for the original item.
  2. Once approved, place a new order for the desired item.


This ensures faster processing and stock availability.



Refund Process:

After receiving and inspecting your returned item, we will notify you whether your refund request has been approved or rejected.

If approved:

  1. Refunds will be processed within 3 business days
  2. Refunds will be issued to the original payment method used during checkout
  3. Processing times may vary depending on your bank, payment provider, or credit card issuer


Please note that some financial institutions may require additional time to post the refunded amount to your account.


If more than 4 business days have passed since your refund was approved and you have not received your refund, please contact us.



International Orders (Including Singapore):

For international returns, customers are responsible for:

  1. Return shipping costs
  2. Customs duties
  3. Import taxes
  4. Brokerage fees
  5. Any additional charges imposed by local authorities


These fees are non-refundable unless the return is due to an error on our part.
